Wind Up Accumulator – Abhisara International

Wind Up Accumulator System

System Components:

  1. Accumulator Unit
    • Temporarily stores material to ensure continuous flow.
    • Balances material tension and prevents slack during winding.
  2. Wind Up Stand
    • Provides a stable base for the winding process.
    • Designed to accommodate various roll sizes and widths.
  3. Tension Controller
    • Monitors and adjusts the tension of the material during winding.
    • Ensures consistent tension for optimal winding performance.
  4. Proximity Sensors
    • Detect the position and movement of the material within the accumulator.
    • Provide real-time data for precise tension adjustments.
  5. Electronic-Pneumatic (E-P) Converter
    • Converts electrical signals from the tension controller into precise pneumatic pressure.
    • Adjusts air pressure to control tension accurately during winding.

Operation Process:

  1. Material Accumulation
    • Material enters the accumulator unit, where it is temporarily stored.
    • Accumulator balances the material flow, preventing slack and tension variations.
  2. Tension Monitoring
    • Proximity sensors monitor the position and movement of the material.
    • Sensors send data to the tension controller for real-time adjustments.
  3. Signal Transmission
    • Tension controller processes sensor data and adjusts voltage output.
    • E-P converter translates voltage into pneumatic pressure, adjusting tension as needed.
  4. Winding Process
    • Material exits the accumulator and is wound onto rolls at the wind up stand.
    • Tension controller ensures consistent tension throughout the winding process.

Features:

  • Efficient Material Storage: Accumulator unit balances material flow, preventing slack and tension variations.
  • Proportional Tension Adjustment: Automatically adjusts tension based on material movement and position.
